Here at Hudson Healing Arts, we're thrilled to welcome Marina Kostandinovic, CCH, RSHom(NA), LFHom, as the newest member of our team. Marina is a certified classical homeopath with more than 18 years of experience helping people achieve better health and well-being.
Homeopathy is based on the idea that the body has an innate ability to heal itself. Rather than simply treating symptoms, Marina works to understand the whole person - looking at physical symptoms alongside emotional health, stress, sleep, relationships, and other patterns that can offer clues about what's going on beneath the surface. From there, she selects a homeopathic remedy that's uniquely matched to the individual. “Homeopathy works with the body’s innate wisdom to heal itself,” says Marina. “The key is finding the right personalized remedy. Rather than suppressing symptoms, the remedy supports the body’s natural healing mechanisms and helps restore balance.” What Is Homeopathy? Marina's interest in homeopathy began as a teenager, when it helped her overcome menstrual health challenges that conventional treatments hadn't fully resolved. That experience inspired her to study classical homeopathy while attending medical college in Serbia. She completed a rigorous five-year program at the School of Classical Homeopathy "Simillimum" in Belgrade, earning both bachelor's and master's degrees in 2009, and later completed additional homeopathic training at the Scuola di Medicina Omeopatica di Genova in Italy. In 2019, she became a Licensed Associate of the Faculty of Homeopathy in the United Kingdom. After moving to Hoboken in 2021, Marina became a registered member of the North American Society of Homeopaths and earned certification through the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CCH). She has continued to expand her clinical training, including advanced clinical education through the Academy of Homeopathy Education. Today, Marina works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including headaches, allergies, autoimmune conditions, sports injuries, chronic health issues, and more. She has a particular passion for supporting women's health, especially reproductive health and fertility. One of the things that makes homeopathy different, Marina explains, is that two people with the same diagnosis may receive completely different remedies. “We treat the person, not the problem,” she says. “Everyone experiences illness differently, so it's important to understand the individual before choosing a remedy.” Homeopathic remedies are prepared from natural substances - including plants, minerals, and other naturally occurring materials - and are carefully diluted according to established homeopathic principles to encourage the body's innate healing response. What Is a Session With Marina Like? Marina believes that listening is one of the most important parts of homeopathic care. During your first appointment, you'll have an in-depth conversation about more than just your primary concern. Marina will ask about your health history, emotions, sleep, stress levels, energy, relationships, and other aspects of your life for a more complete picture of your overall health. This information guides her in selecting the remedy that's the best fit for you. Follow-up visits are individualized rather than scheduled on a fixed timeline. Marina will recommend additional appointments based on your progress and what support you need along the way. In addition to her work with clients, Marina is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and is passionate about fertility education. This September, she's launching Fertility Talks, a monthly educational series featuring conversations with homeopaths, acupuncturists, psychotherapists, and other holistic practitioners focused on natural approaches that support reproductive health. In her free time, Marina enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with her young son, and visiting family in Serbia whenever she can. If you're looking for a personalized, holistic approach to your health, Marina is here to support you on your healing journey.
