We’re thrilled to welcome Ria Aichour to the Hudson Healing Arts family!
A certified Reiki practitioner and meditation teacher, Ria brings a warm, compassionate approach to her work - helping people of all ages (including pets) find relief from pain, stress, and energetic imbalances. Ria also teaches Reiki certification classes for adults, empowering students to practice self-healing and share Reiki with others. “I’m truly honored to support others in their healing - physically, emotionally, and energetically,” she says. “My intention is always to lead with empathy and the utmost integrity. Nothing makes me more alive than helping others.” Ria’s background Ria’s journey into energy healing began with a simple, intuitive gesture. A friend was in intense pain, and when Ria reached toward the area that hurt, they were both surprised to feel the pain lessen. This moment opened the door to something much deeper: A profound calling to help others. Diving headfirst into the study of Reiki, Ria became a Reiki Master and learned from renowned energy healers and intuitive guides. One of her most influential mentors was a hospital-based pain management doctor - who, after seeing Reiki succeed where traditional treatments couldn’t, became a practitioner himself. Today, Ria’s practice is inclusive and far-reaching. She’s supported babies and children, young adults with autism, women navigating menopause, and even beloved pets. No matter who she’s working with, her intention is always the same: to ease stress and pain, and help people feel better. “I work with the energy body. By raising my vibration to a higher frequency, I’m able to connect to others, tune into what’s going on under the surface, and help activate the body’s natural healing mechanisms to provide relief,” she explains. She also offers distance sessions via Zoom, connecting to a client’s energy field remotely to clear blockages and restore a healthier, more balanced flow of energy - no matter where they are. What is a session with Ria like? Whether you have a specific concern or a vague sense of feeling “off,” a session with Ria is always grounded in compassion. She describes Reiki as a massage for the soul, and says many clients leave feeling lighter, more relaxed, and more attuned to themselves. “Some people notice better digestion, others say it feels like a weight has been lifted,” she says. “Whatever the experience, my goal is for you to leave with less pain and more peace.” You don’t need to prepare or bring anything to a session - just come with an open mind. Afterward, Ria will follow up to see how you’re doing and share self-guided meditations and mindfulness practices to support you between visits. In her free time, Ria enjoys staying grounded through the things she loves - learning, cooking, playing outside with her daughter, meditating, journaling, and exercising. She’s also a resilience and holistic life coach, supporting people from all walks of life, including professionals, parents, and anyone navigating big life transitions. We’re so grateful to have Ria as part of the Hudson Healing Arts team. To learn more or book a session, visit riahealings.com. You can also reach her at 908-368-1964 or [email protected].
